Today might not hurt too much

As I’m writing this, the market has been open for almost an hour now. I’m seeing only pleasure at this point from my options positions, well, though they aren’t the most pleasurable they are definitely bringing a happier day to me than they did a few days ago when I saw a potential loss of over $4k. Now at least I get to watch a potential loss turn into a potential profit.. but will I be smart enough to sell?

I found out yesterday that there were people alive in my family. Surprised me too (not that I had a family, but that they knew where I was). Since there was a family emergency (which equates to me having to find money and pay for things), I was unavailable to do things most important in life to me, including posting this silly blog bullchit for you all to read and make fun of me.

Really, I hope that you all find something worth reading.. maybe my failures? Successes? Maybe just my witty attacks. I can’t analyze any stock chart better or worse than any other crazy blogger out in virtual world, so it can’t be because of something I might analyze.

For instance, I think that I have a rather high percentage of success, but the inability to escape positions at the appropriate times. Even the BIDU trade that I swallowed a loss upon turned out to be a win if I were smart enough to hold it until expiration. That’s actually pretty much my trading career since inception, except for a giant loss which only proved to me that I’m mentally retarded at times and that emotion plays well into a stock trade, but only when I plan on being right.

While wondering if I should just keep complimenting my stock picking success and failure to exit positions, I figured that I would try something different here and talk about other people’s blogs.

Umm.. DT is still not posting.

The iNigga lives on.

Apparently Equine is out of the blogging business.

Ainkurn keeps the VO running.

Trader Bubs still blogging about trading despite himself.

Boogster needs to play more poker.

Richard still won’t allow comments which I feel personally responsible for (you’re welcome).

It can be a trading jungle out there.

Anyone want to teach an options trader the difference between a bitmap and GIF/JPG/PNG for page loading speed?

I’m not sure what this says anymore, should I keep it bookmarked? Apparently there was a language change from the 20th to the 24th.

Who knew that Hector could advertise so well? His site is really setup for selling ads.

Well.. I’ll continue to watch my positions gain value (go GS and C and COF, continue falling!!!). This brings you back to your normally scheduled web surfing.

  1. Don’t be jealous of my bitmaps.
My charts are big, black, and beautiful and I don’t want you to miss a single detail!

  3. michael: now that she admitted to taking a break from blogging, do u think she is coming up with a different identity…the mark of a successful person is the ability to reinvent yourself…i’m contemplating how she comes back in her/his next blog life

i think i may put up a friendly poll…do u have any suggestions?

  4. Equine will probably come back as a male blogger who dropped out of a hedge fund because of significant losses encountered shorting oil or going long wheat after the USD gets some strength.
You are the master of polls. I’ll be voting as long as the outcome doesn’t have any effect on me.
