Forex USD USD USD

Forex USD USD USDI gambled on USD last night, lost my nerve and switched to EUR and lost $50 on a stop loss. Forget that stuff, I’m rooting for the U.S. of A. now. This should be easy, as long as the USD goes up (which is has a recent history of doing anything but that), I should be making profit.

Sad part is that by the time I finish writing this post, I’ll be down over $20 on my trades. And I haven’t yet set stop losses within a normal range.

Amount (EUR) 12,500.00
Rolling until 03/14/2008
Amount to risk (USD) 125.00
Buy currency USD
Sell currency EUR
Deal rate 1.5179
STOP LOSS rate 1.5279

Amount (CAD) 12,000.00
Rolling until 03/14/2008
Amount to risk (USD) 150.00
Buy currency USD
Sell currency CAD
Deal rate 0.9797
STOP LOSS rate 0.9678

Now of course, it’s been a few minutes, but I am currently down $11.25 on EUR bet and $8.76 on CAD. If the USD just gets a little going for it, I’ll be happy.

UPDATE: 2/29/2008 sold USD/CAD, Closing rate 0.9829
Closing value 39.88 USD
