WFC scares me away for a bit

I sold my puts in WFC.  Though there was a relatively low profit percentage made, a profit is a profit is not a loss.

Since the WFC is another bank, and I believe the banks have not met their bottom-most periods just yet, I’m going to wait until there’s a little more upswing in stocks like WFC before I enter into a more long term put position, something with a couple of months in time available.

Sold:
WFC Feb08 $30 puts (WFCNY), 10 @ $0.70
Entered 12/26 @ $0.60, exited 12/31 @ $0.70
  17% profit, $80.00
  stock price when entered $31.34
  stock price when exited $30.27

My entrance on this trade was decent and at no time was I actually holding a paper loss.  Unlike the rest of my positions.
