End of day +$200

Okay that was a close one on my First Solar (FSLR) call option.  That stock was all over the place today, closing at  214.54 -14.68 (6.40%) for the day.  It is even down afterhours a little.  As predicted, it did have a nice rebound after I bought it, but it did not stay above $220 for long.

I was not greedy and placed an order to sell it after I bought it.  I placed a limit order to sell my 1 FSLR Dec07 $230 call option at $14.50 and it executed when the stock was at $221.05, netting me a $200 profit after $10 commission.

Trades:
Sold FSLR Dec07 $230 call HJQLF, 1 @ 14.50
   Entered at $12.40 today
+$200 profit +16.1% (after $10 commission)
stock price when exited:  $221.05
stock price when entered:  $216.30

I am still holding onto my 150 shares of JC Penney’s JCP.  I now have a small paper profit on them.  Looking forward:  I think Michael has the right idea on Baidu BIDU and I might be getting myself a put or two.  Another stock getting ripe for a short is VMWare VMW and I will be keeping my eye on it as well.
